• Leave Matale on the B157 (Matale–Dambulla Road) heading north-east.
• After ~23 km you’ll arrive at Maningamuwa Junction (sign for “Ambokka Sri Paththini Dewalaya”).
• Turn left onto Ambokka Road—a narrow, winding single-lane that climbs into the hills.
• Look for the “ThreeCreeks” sign on your right; turn in and follow the farm track ~500 m to the main wooden gate at GPS 7.620088°, 80.575585°.
• Note: The last 3 km are unpaved—4×4 or high-clearance vehicles are recommended in wet weather.
2. From Dambulla (≈20 km / 40 min)
• Take B157 south-west from Dambulla toward Matale.
• Pass Kurakade Junction, Galmihiwara Road, and Chethigiriya Temple, then reach Maningamuwa Junction.
• Turn right onto Ambokka Road and continue as above.
3. From Kandy (≈50 km / 1 hr 30 min)
• Follow A9 north from Kandy to Peradeniya, then merge onto B157 toward Matale.
• Continue via the Matale or Dambulla directions above.
By Public Transport
• Bus to Maningamuwa Junction: Matale→Dambulla: Board at Matale Hansaya; alight at Maningamuwa Junction.
• Dambulla→Matale: Reverse.
• From Maningamuwa Junction you can hire a tuk-tuk (~LKR 800–1,200) to the Ambokka Road turn-off, then to the gate.
